We went to Las Vegas on Father's Day. Ashlie and Ryan (Ashlie is Jordan's sister) had a new baby boy!! I was going to post a picture but I figured it is only fair for them to do the unveiling. He is a cute TINY little thing. They named him Peyton Stokes Simons. He is almost exactly the same size as Van when he was born, only an ounce different. Holding him I can't believe that Van was his size only 4 months ago.
Van is crazy! He is sitting on the desk right now in his bumbo chair hitting the computer screen with a sharpie marker. Don't worry the lid is tightly closed and I am watching to make sure he doesn't stick it too far down his throat :) In just the last few days he is reaching for everything in sight and throwing fits when he can't get to whatever his heart desires. He is now lifting the glass that the pens go in and dropping it on the desk repeatedly!!! Oh, I love him! I think I am in for it.
While in Vegas we went to the Shark Reef and got to hang out with Addison and Jack while Ashlie, Ryan and Peyton hung out in the hospital.
Jack, Ammy and Addy
Jack loves to hold the bottle and feed Van. He gets upset when you try to assist.
This is Van watching TV...surprise, surprise. Where ever we go he will locate Stevie and is entertained indefinitely, or until he is hungry or poopie!
We were so excited to take Van swimming for the first time. He loves the bath so I assumed he would love the pool. Well...not so much. Vegas was 110 degrees and the pool felt like it was -10 degrees. I will not give up, my baby must love the pool!
Uncle Landon....I am starting damage control at 5 months. Van loves his Uncle Landon!
This is how we spent the rest of the time...pool SIDE.
